      <image:title>About Us - Listening to Understand</image:title>
<image:caption>Located in Monterey, CA, we are an organization dedicated to making people feel heard. We began as a volunteer organization in 2020 in response to the events that unfolded around the globe. Many were filled with anxiety, doubts, and fears. We reached out with the intention to help humanity and simply listen with LOVE. At the height of the pandemic, our services were provided free of charge. We feel grateful to have been able to provide a SAFE space for people to share their stories as we listened with LOVE. And these stories of courage, bravery, and hope continue to inspire us today. As we continue to serve our local and global communities, our intentions remain the same. We are here to listen with LOVE. We want you to feel heard. We value what you have to say. We are HERE for you. You are NOT alone.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home 1 - Why is talking and listening important?</image:title>
<image:caption>Dr. Ralph Nichols, the Father to the Field of Listening, wrote, “The most basic of all human needs is the need to understand be understood. The best way to understand people is to listen to them.” There are many ways someone can help their community. With the current global pandemic, rising levels of anxiety, uncertain futures, and challenges ahead, we want to help through the power of listening. People need and deserve to be heard and validated. We hope we can be that person for you.</image:caption>
